Sule Lamido says only God can stop him from replacing Buhari as president in 2019

Former Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido, has proclaimed that no one but God can prevent him from turning into Nigeria’s leader in 2019, on the off chance that he chooses to challenge.

As indicated by The Sun, Lamido made this claim on Sunday night, after policemen were allegedly sent to Bamaina town of Birnin Kudu, to stop a rally sorted out by young people encouraging him to keep running in the following general races.

“The distress by those in powers of force today should realize that a similar God that have made Balewa, Ironsi, Gowon, Murtala, Shagari, Buhari, Babangida and Jonathan Presidents could do likewise for me if Allah so wishes,” Lamido told pressmen.

“This pressure and terrorizing was a direct result of my desire and I should let them know that regardless, if Allah has predetermined that I will be President, they can’t stop me or prevent me since that will add up to battling against the desire of God.

“Pioneers ought to be careful with the results that took after oppression, exemption and mishandle of human poise.

Talking further, he included: “I am their dad and they are coming to welcome me and you are stating they need to request allow, allow for what?

“Everywhere on this nation I’ve never known about a common assembling that obliges one to request allow, even on Saturday, we were in Sokoto for a wedding where a large number of individuals went to or notwithstanding naming services where hundreds go to, have you requested that they demonstrate their allow?, but since it’s Sule Lamido, whoever that is coming to see me must secure an allow to do as such”.

Addressing the young people, he said: “If your supplications for me to be the President of this nation is the desire of Allah, let it be, for Allah is the One that made others like Jonathan, Tafawa Balewa, Obasanjo.”
